Working cooperatively to promote Statistical literacy

Abstract

This session will have speakers representing the following: National Statistics Offices, National Statistical Societies, International Organizations (such as the United Nations), Universities, and the International Statistical Literacy Project of the IASE. Speakers will briefly discuss what has been done recently by organizations of the type they are representing. Then, each speaker will propose how such organizations should be involved in statistical literacy in the future. At the end of the session 20 minutes will be devoted to audience reaction to these proposals and questions.
