Abstract

South Africa is currently in the process of implementing C2005, a new school curriculum in South Africa. This paper focuses on the statistics content of the new school curriculum and describes some steps taken to assist teachers in coping with the imminent new data handling component. Particular emphasis is placed on the influence of ICOTS6, on this process.
