The American Statistical Association (ASA) vision to advance the statistical profession through educational ambassadors between the US and other nations

Abstract

For the purpose of advancing the statistical profession and statistical knowledge on an international level, the American Statistical Association is proposing to recruit qualified Education Ambassadors from foreign countries to work for the improvement of statistical education at all levels and support excellence in statistical practice, research, journals, and meetings. Results of a preliminary pilot effort will be presented.
