Abstract

The aim of this session is to bring together teachers and researchers working at universities, secondary schools, research institutes, government statistical agencies, industry, etc., to present and discuss their experience in the development of co-operative projects and activities, and their contribution to quality improvement of both research and training. Particular attention will be given to special institutional arrangements to facilitate the participation of students of statistics in applied research projects.
