Abstract

This paper is motivated by the need for a methodological change for Statistics teaching in experimental degree courses. We try to show the students the need for Statistics knowledge. Then they are able to establish a relation between reality and their studies and they can use Statistics as an indispensable tool to handle some data. With these objectives we start this project using real data to teach Statistics to our students. We work with students of the University of Granada, Spain, in a third course of Environment Sciences.
