Abstract

JUSE (Union of Japanese Scientist and Engineers) is one of core organizations of education and training to attain the best qualities of products and services made in Japan. Since 1946 JUSE has contributed development and promotion of scientific management methodology including TQM (Total Quality Management) for Japanese industries. Further JUSE has also provided SQC (Statistical Quality Control) education programs unifying quality control practices and necessary statistical theories in order to develop competent QC practitioners. The author will introduce application of statistical methods in Japanese production industries implemented through representative SQC curriculums in JUSE.
