Classroom-based research with Fathom and TinkerPlots

Abstract
Statistic educators in several countries have conducted research on student learning of statistics in classrooms using Fathom or TinkerPlots. In this session, some of these researchers will share their views on general objectives of on-going research and ideas for future research. They will also explore opportunities for this type of research to influence the design of future versions of these tools.
