Projection Facilities

Technical equipment available for presentations:
  • DATA projectors (LCD) for computer presentation (resolution up to 1024 x 768 pixels)
  • Video projections (DVD)
  • PC with Windows XP operating system and Microsoft Office 2007
While you should be able to connect your own laptop to the data projector, you may want to consider using the Preview Centre a day or two (if possible) before your talk to test your presentation and to load it onto the appropriate room computer.

If you are bringing data or documents to display in your talk, a USB memory stick should be adequate. However things can go wrong, so as a back-up we would recommend that you bring either a second memory stick or (preferably) a CD containing your data/documents. Having two different formats should eliminate any compatibility problems.

Preview Centre

Conference staff will make sure that your presentation will be available on the computer in your specific session room. Please make sure that your computer presentation is fully operational before your talk. Version MS PowerPoint 2007 is recommended. We suggest that your computer presentation be installed and tested at least two hours before your talk. A technician and a room attendant will be in every room to provide assistance when needed.
The Preview Centre will have the same opening hours as the registration desk and will be located in the 2nd Foyer.
