Use of new technology for promoting classroom engagement

Abstract
The integration of technology within the classroom has revealed new opportunities to enhance student engagement and enrich learning experiences. For example, mobile response systems enable teachers to create quizzes, polls and other exercises that can guide the focus of lessons as well as generate student discussions. In this session, use of new technology, such as mobile response system, for promoting classroom engagement is discussed.
