Abstract

This session will discuss the use of specially annotated lesson plans as a means to prepare and support in-service high-school teachers to effectively implement a data-driven statistics curriculum with technology. This session will also discuss the interpretation of statistical graphs by in-service preschool teachers in and the nature and development of pre-service mathematics teachers’ questioning patterns while they attempt to foster students’ statistical thinking in the context of a lesson study.
